Domain Name Generator
Turn a keyword into dozens of domain name ideas. Enter one word and get brandable combinations using common prefixes and suffixes, plus the same word on popular TLDs. Use the results as a starting point, then check availability at a registrar before you commit.
A single word or short phrase (letters, digits and hyphens; 2–24 characters).
How the generator works
It combines your keyword with a set of common, brand-friendly building blocks. Prefixes like get, my and go put the keyword into an actionable form; suffixes like hub, labs and app make it feel like a product or service. It also lists the bare keyword on a spread of TLDs so you can weigh a short .com against a modern .io or .app.
Nothing here is checked for availability — that depends on the registry and is always changing. Treat the list as a creativity aid, shortlist a handful of names, and verify them at a registrar.
Tips for choosing a domain
- Keep it short and sayable. If you cannot read it aloud once and have someone type it correctly, it is too clever. Avoid ambiguous spellings and homophones.
- Avoid hyphens and numbers. They cause typos and get dropped when people say the name out loud.
- Prefer
.comwhen you can. It is still the default people assume..io,.co,.appand.devare solid for tech and apps; niche TLDs can look cheap if they do not fit. - Check for trademarks. Never build a brand on a name that clashes with an existing company — the legal risk is not worth it.
- Think about the future. A name tied too tightly to one product can box you in if you expand. A little abstraction helps.
- Match the brand, not just the keyword. Exact-match keyword domains help slightly with SEO but a distinctive brand is easier to remember and defend.
- Verify before you buy. Search the name, check social handles, and confirm the domain is genuinely available.
A word on TLDs
The part after the last dot is the top-level domain. Country codes like .de or .nl can signal a local presence, while .io became a de-facto standard for startups despite being a country code. Whatever you choose, keep the same name across your main domain and social handles, and redirect the others to it so you do not lose visitors.
Privacy
The generator runs entirely on our server from your keyword — it makes no external lookups and stores nothing beyond a short-lived cache. Requests are rate-limited per IP.
